I haven't written in this blog in a while. And my blogging in the future will be sporadic as well. I just want to be honest about it! BUT I will blog again; don't give up hope on this blog.

Birthday Cupcakes

Look at these kickass cupcakes that my family got me to celebrate my birthday. The cupcakes were kind of like crosses between muffins and cupcakes, but they were all impersonating cakes. One was pretending to be a black forest cake, one was a carrot cake, 2 were boston cream pies, there was a hostess-like cupcake (without the squiggle on top though), and a few other great flavors too. What a great family!

A Stroll with Mother

This past weekend I was in Harwichport, MA (cape cod), and my mom and I took a walk to Alan's Harbor. Here are 3 pictures of that harbor:

Maybe the best sandwich ever,

The other day I had a sandwich so great, I thought it might be the end of my blog. Then I remembered that my blog is devoted to sandwiches both great and mediocre, as well as pictures of myself, and was suddenly relieved. I have displayed the ingredients a few different ways. The ingredients are: 3 kinds of turkey, 2 kinds of cheese (Swiss and Provolone), tomato, onion, and avocad0, grilled on a panini press. The bread is italian peasant bread I think.

Beautiful on the Inside

This sandwich is just as beautiful as I am, and in the same way: primarily on the inside. That's where true beauty is found anyway. Teriyaki chicken, and cheddar and harvarti cheese. Melted.

Slugs and fire

At a pool party in NY last weekend, many pictures were taken of me looking stupid in a bandana and wearing flippers. Here is a different side of that pool party: slugs and fire. Actually there was only one slug, guarding the entrance to the house, but I took 3 pictures of said slug. And there are 2 movies of the kickass fire I made.

The Fuzz

When I was helping move some furniture, we found some fascinating furniture fuzz. It looks like a magnificent moldy old mold, but I think it is just some of the packing blanket getting stuck to something sticky. Anyway I wanted to document it before we cleaned it off, and decided to share this mythical creature with the world. Here is da fuzz:

Rabbit on leash

I am considering getting a small pet for the coming year, possibly a rabbit or a mouse or a hamster or a movie star. I probably won't in the end, but it's nice to dream. Maybe I'll really do it. But (as some of you saw on twitpic) I saw a rabbit on a leash the other day that was awesome. PS check out my thumb in the first shot. What a good-looking blurry thumb!

Sandwichtown--100th post

Ok. This is my 100th post here. So it is fitting that this post is about my most famous subject: sandwiches! I know I haven't posted in a while but over the coming week there will be at least several. But for today, I have a glorious, glorious sandwich to show you. Welcome back to sandwichtown. The mayor himself is welcoming you. I am the mayor of sandwichtown. Imagine: chicken, fresh from a Whole Foods Teriyaki Chicken Breast. Imagine, cheddar cheese sliced from a block. Imagine arugula, avocado (perfectly ripe), and juicy yet firm slices of tomato. And imagine challah bread, sliced thick and perfectly toasted; toasted after being squished around the delicious contents of the sandwich so that everything stays perfectly in place. The cheddar melts but just enough. Each bite filling your mouth not only with sustenance but also flavor, many miraculous flavors. Now: stop imagining. Open your eyes. If your eyes were closed you must have been winking or blinking or something, because how can you read with your eyes closed? Is someone reading this to you? Make a sandwich for them to thank them. Make this sandwich. Now open your eyes and see the perfect sandwich you've been imagining, placed lovingly on a floral themed plate. Here:
